Traceability of Fruits and Fruit-Based Products

A collaborative project between the Department of Valorization of Agricultural Products of the Walloon Agricultural Research Centre (CRA-W) and the Brazilian institutions Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE) and the Universidade Federal do ParĂ¡ (UFPA) has been approved for 2014-2015. The project, entitled “Emergent Spectroscopic Techniques for the Quality Control and Traceability of Fruits and Fruit-Based Products” is coordinated by Prof. Celio Pasquini (UNICAMP) and Dr. Pierre Dradenne (CRA-W). The priority actions of the project include application of NIR hyperspectral imaging to quality assessment of fruits and application of NIRS gas analysis to the follow-up of fermentation.
