The International Council for Near Infrared Spectroscopy (ICNIRS) offers travel awards for student delegates to participate in the council’s international conference in 2025. Funding for the awards is made possible because of the donation of a significant portion of the profits from the previous ICNIRS conference and is dependent on the financial success of the previous conference
Funding for the NIR-2025 conference in Italy will be possible because of the donation of profits from the organizers of the NIR-2023 conference in Austria. ICNIRS will look most favorably on student applicants.
To apply for an ICNIRS travel grant for NIR-2025 please submit:
– a resume
– a BRIEF outline of current and past NIR research and/or development, and its impact on the applicant’s work area
– the abstract(s) submitted to NIR-2025
– names and contact information of TWO referees who may be contacted by ICNIRS to clarify any aspect of the application
