The ICNIRS may provide a maximum of two Emeritus Grants, to assist eligible senior scientists, who have retired from full-time paid employment, to attend the NIR-2023 Conference and act as mentors to young scientists, providing research advice in a designated and closed conference session.
As the conference is virtual, no Emeritus Travel Grants is planned for NIR-2021.
To apply for an ICNIRS Emeritus travel grant for NIR-2023 please submit:
- a resume
- a BRIEF outline of current and past NIR research and/or development
- a detailed budget including total estimated costs of attending the conference, the amount(s) and source(s) of already secured or promised funding and the specific amount requested from ICNIRS
- a brief outline on how you will organise and contribute the designated and closed conference session , according to your knowledge about traditional time-table at ICNIRS Conferences
